A community land trust (CLT) is a nonprofit corporation that holds title to land on behalf of a place-based community, while serving as the long-term steward for affordable housing, community gardens, civic buildings, commercial spaces and other community assets on behalf of a community.

Chris Allen Architect is assisting the Ann Arbor Community Land Trust (a2clt.org) with the planning and design of new single-family units, along with duplexes (seen above) that consist of a primary unit alongside an accessory dwelling unit (ADU).  Chris has also prepared site designs for future developments in Ann Arbor.
