CHRIS ALLEN ARCHITECT

 

Originally from East Grand Rapids, Michigan, Chris attended The University of Michigan where he received his Bachelor of Science Degree and Master of Architecture Degree (with Distinction).  

​

He has been involved in a variety of successful and award-winning projects, such as commercial buildings (including retail and medical facilities), as well as residential projects, from single-family homes to large scale multi-family developments.  

​

He has been a licensed architect in Michigan since 1991.   Chris is a member of The National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) and The International Code Council (ICC). 

​

Chris has successfully obtained approvals from some of the most stringent regulatory agencies, including planning commissions, zoning boards of appeals, and building boards of appeals.  Working on behalf of the Owner, Chris has been able to effectively navigate the process of zoning and permit approvals for clients in several jurisdictions.

​

As a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP), Chris has the knowledge necessary to guide your project through the LEED process, and to incorporate energy-saving and sustainable principles into your project.

Chris utilizes a team approach in many of his projects, bringing together the knowledge and abilities of all those involved in the project, including the Owner, Contractor, and other building professionals - all under his expert guidance.
