Here you'll see some recent work by Chris Allen. 

 

First off is a boathouse renovation in Gross Ile, Michigan, on a waterway that connects to Lake Erie.  This is a complete renovation of an existing structure.  Quite a challenging project so far with the approvals needed from local authorities.

Next is a new multi-family building for veterans of the military.   This project is located in northern Detroit and has 50 apartments.

This is followed by two projects in Glenn, Michigan, very near the shore of Lake Michigan.  One is a complete renovation of an old cottage, the other a new contemporary home.

Last but not least is an A-frame concept that utilizes structural insulated panels (SIPS) and a shallow frost-protected foundation
