Chris Allen was the project architect and designer for this facility when he was employed at Kadushin Associates Architects Planners.

Alternatives for Girls (AFG), located in southwest Detroit, helps homeless and high-risk girls and young women avoid violence, teen pregnancy, and exploitation.   AFG provides programs for prevention and includes a shelter and space for outreach services.  It also has a resource center that connects families & individuals with needed services.

The new facility contains all the services provided by AFG, along with administrative offices.
