Chris Allen was the project architect and designer for Woodbridge Estates while he was employed at Kadushin Associates Architects Planners.

Woodbridge Estates (LIHTC) was a public/private partnership between a local development team and the Detroit Housing Commission.

Formerly known as the Jeffries Projects, most of the dilapidated public housing towers and low-rise structures on the site were demolished. The old street grid (in place prior to the previous construction of The Jeffries Projects) was restored and connected to the surrounding neighborhood.

Funding for this project included $25.4 million in HOPE VI funds and consists of a mixed-income, mixed-use, mixed-ownership development employing mixed-finance techniques predicated on market forces. It is the most economically integrated HOPE VI project, with rental housing ranging from public housing to fair market, and home ownership ranging from affordable to fair market condos and single family dwellings.

Gardenview Estates (LIHTC) was a public/private partnership much like Woodbridge Estates.  It is located at the site of the former Herman Gardens project in northwest Detroit.   It fell into disrepair in the 1980's and was demolished in the 1990's.   Gardenview Estates was unveiled as the replacement, consisting of 833 apartments, single family homes and co-ops.

Chris Allen was the project architect at Kadushin Associates for both Eagle Ridge in Ann Arbor and English Village in Detroit.  Both use modular technology for their construction. English Village is located near the entrance to Belle Isle, a popular park and recreation area on the Detroit River.
